Official Mandate
The minimum qualifying mark (Pass Mark) for all BNMC written admission tests is fixed at 40.
B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic)
Professional Healthcare Degree | 4-Year Duration
Candidate Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold permanent citizenship of Bangladesh.
- Admission seats are reserved at a ratio of 2:8 (Male:Female) according to government-approved institutional standards.
- Applicants must have passed SSC (or equivalent) and HSC (or equivalent) in the current year, or within the previous three consecutive years.
- Applicants must have passed both SSC and HSC examinations from the Science discipline from any recognized Education Board in Bangladesh.
- GPA Requirements:
- A minimum combined GPA of 7.00 is required for SSC and HSC (Science or equivalent), with at least 3.00 in each individual examination and a minimum of 3.00 in Biology.
- Biology is compulsory at the 'A' level for B.Sc. Nursing.
Admission Standards & Evaluation
- Candidates must successfully pass the official aptitude test conducted by the BNMC.
- Initially selected candidates must pass a comprehensive health examination conducted by the institution's authorities.
- The minimum age for admission is 17 years as of December 31st of the admission year.
- Medical fitness (both physical and mental) is a mandatory prerequisite for final admission.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold permanent citizenship of Bangladesh.
- Admission seats are reserved at a ratio of 2:8 (Male:Female) according to government-approved institutional standards.
- Note: Only women are eligible to apply for the Diploma in Midwifery course.
- Applicants must have passed SSC (or equivalent) and HSC (or equivalent) in the current year, or within the previous three consecutive years.
- Applicants must have passed SSC and HSC (or equivalent) from any discipline.
- GPA Requirements:
- A combined GPA of at least 6.00 in SSC and HSC is required, with a minimum of 2.50 in each exam.

Professional Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must hold updated registration from the BNMC.
- Applicants must have completed a Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery.
- Government applicants: minimum of 2 years professional experience.
- Successfully pass the official admission test (Public/Private).
- Medical fitness examination prior to final admission.
- Submit applications through proper institutional channels.
